Questions from conference organisers
Who is the conference for?
Christianity Explored conferences are for everyone interested in reaching the lost. You don’t have to be currently running a CE course - or thinking about running one - to benefit from the conference content.
Is the two-day conference different from the one-day conference?
No. Although exact timings will vary from conference to conference, the same topics will be covered, and given the same amount of time.
Is it like a lecture?
Definitely not. The conference involves plenty of group discussion and interaction, and typically there is more than one main speaker, so you won’t get bored!
Can I bring a non-Christian friend along?
Although we do not exclude anyone from attending, the conferences are not intended for non-Christians.
What topics are covered?
There are four sessions, plus time for questions and answers. During the conference, you’ll explore what the Bible has to say about evangelism, experience a ‘virtual’ evening at Christianity Explored, watch one of the dynamic course videos, and discover ways to answer difficult questions. You’ll also explore how to invite non-Christians along to the course, involve the whole church family in evangelism and get to grips quickly with Mark’s Gospel.
We’re about to run a course. Is this the best way to train our course leaders?
Conferences are an invaluable way for leaders to prepare themselves for a course, but they are not intended as a substitute for the training material included in the first half of the Study Guide - Leader’s Edition.
What does the conference registration fee cover?
Your registration fee is set by the local organisers of each conference, and covers the cost of the handouts, catering, speaker travel expenses, and any additional costs such as venue or equipment hire.
Will I be able to buy CE resources at the conference?
Yes. Resources will be available at the conference, often at a discounted rate.
How can I find out about future conferences?
Every year, dozens of conferences take place all over the world. Find out more by visiting www.christianityexplored.com and clicking on ‘Conferences’.
