We all have big questions about life – why we’re here, what really matters, and how to live with meaning.

Christianity Explored is a relaxed, welcoming space to explore those questions honestly, in community.

Over seven sessions, you’ll read through Mark’s Gospel – an eyewitness account of the life of Jesus – and consider his question: “Who do you say I am?”

Each week, you’ll watch a short film, open the Bible together, and talk it through in a small group. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, and you won’t be put on the spot. It’s a space to listen, to ask, and to think at your own pace.

At its heart, Christianity isn’t about rules or religious ideas – it’s about a person. Jesus Christ.

As you explore his life, you’ll discover who he is, why he came, and what that means for us today.

Christianity Explored is simple to run, with everything designed to help you create a welcoming space and open the Bible with confidence.

Each session follows a clear rhythm:

  • Welcome your guests – create a relaxed environment with a meal, a drink, or time to chat
  • Watch the film – a short, engaging episode that introduces the key themes for that week
  • Open Mark’s Gospel – see for yourselves what Jesus says and does
  • Discuss together – Questions guide the conversation to consider who Jesus is, and what he's showing us through his words and actions

All you need to provide is
